Cat. #00142402: GALE GORDON

Terrifically snarky-looking 8x10-inch black and white portrait in his prime, boldly signed in black felt-tip pen in his later years. In good condition. Mustached character actor Gale Gordon found his niche playing stuffy, blustery bosses, husbands and neighbors on television sitcoms, most notably Osgood Conklin on "Our Miss Brooks" (1952-1956); John Wilson on "Dennis the Menace" (1962-1963); Theodore Mooney on "The Lucy Show" (1963-1968); Harrison Carter on "Here's Lucy" (1968-1974); and Curtis McGibbon on "Life with Lucy" (1986).
